On the occasion of Endangered Species Day on May 11, the Foundation highlighted the fragility of the monarch butterfly at the heart of Parc Oméga. This elegant traveler with orange wings, a symbol of beauty and resilience, was the focus of an awareness workshop led by our naturalist-educators.
Visitors were invited to discover the world of this endangered insect and to take concrete action by sowing milkweed seeds—a host plant essential to its survival. Each participant left with seeds to plant at home, a small gesture to provide a future for the monarch butterfly.
