On the occasion of Tree and Forests Month, an initiative of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forests, the Parc Oméga Foundation distributed more than 300 tree seedlings to the local community, inviting citizens to plant them at home or in their immediate surroundings. This initiative, carried out in two phases, aims to raise public awareness while taking concrete action for the environment.

Raising awareness among the youth

Two members of the Foundation visited the Montebello school to meet with students and speak to them about the importance of forests. The objective was clear: to awaken children’s curiosity and encourage them, from a young age, to adopt environmentally respectful behavior.

Mobilizing the community

In the heart of the village, a booth was set up where the Foundation team, accompanied by a local cabinetmaker and a firefighter, hosted discussions with residents. This gathering allowed people of all ages to learn, share their ideas, and commit together to environmental protection.

This action is part of a series of regular environmental efforts led by Parc Oméga and its Foundation, which continues to promote conservation and public awareness.
