To mark World Endangered Species Day on May 11, the Foundation highlighted the fragility of the monarch butterfly in the heart of Parc Oméga. This elegant traveler with its orange wings, a symbol of beauty and resilience, was the focus of an awareness-raising workshop led by our naturalist-educators.

Visitors were invited to discover the world of this endangered insect, and to make a concrete gesture by sowing milkweed seeds – a nourishing plant essential to its survival. Each participant went home with seeds to plant at home, a small gesture to offer the monarch butterfly a future.
