To mark Tree and Forest Month, an initiative of the Ministère des Ressources naturelles et des Forêts, the Parc Oméga Foundation handed over 300 tree seedlings to the local community, inviting citizens to plant them at home or in their immediate surroundings.

This two-stage initiative aims to raise public awareness while taking concrete action for the environment.

Raising awareness
Two members of the Foundation visited the Montebello school to meet pupils and talk to them about the importance of forests. The aim was clear: to arouse the children’s curiosity and encourage them, from an early age, to adopt a respectful attitude towards nature.

Mobilizing the community
In the heart of the village, a kiosk was set up, where the Foundation team, accompanied by a local cabinetmaker and a firefighter, led discussions with local residents. The event provided an opportunity for young and old alike to gather information, share ideas and get involved in protecting the environment.

This action is part of a series of regular environmental efforts by Parc Omega and its Foundation, which continue to promote conservation and public awareness.
