Parc Om\u00e9ga, with the support of the Foundation, has set up a temporary care center for injured turtles, to provide concrete support for local wildlife conservation efforts. The center serves as an accessible drop-off and stabilization point when injured turtles are found in the area and cannot be immediately transported to specialized centers. <\/p>\n

The injured turtles are then transferred to the Centre de r\u00e9habilitation des tortues du Qu\u00e9bec (CRTQ), an organization renowned for its expertise in veterinary care and the release of wild animals.<\/p>\n

This relay service enables turtles to be quickly stabilized, considerably increasing their chances of survival. It contributes directly to the CRTQ’s mission by reducing mortality among injured wildlife, improving rehabilitation rates, and ensuring rapid response in emergency situations. <\/p>\n

This initiative also reinforces our role as a committed player in the protection of biodiversity. It also raises awareness among our visitors and partners of the importance of helping wildlife in distress, while fostering a sense of collective responsibility towards nature. Through this project, Parc Om\u00e9ga acts as a concrete link between the public, rehabilitation experts and the urgent needs of wildlife. <\/p>\n
