In order to achieve its charitable educational goals, the Foundation supports a number of activities designed to bring the wealth of North American flora and fauna, as well as Quebec and Canadian folklore, to the attention of the general public. Kenauk Institute internship<\/b>
The Kenauk Institute internship program is grateful for the opportunity to tour Omega Park. The knowledge of the park, the animals and the work being done is invaluable to this program and gives students an intimate experience with animals that would not be possible elsewhere. These types of opportunities open their eyes to new career paths, fuel their passion for wildlife conservation and give them unforgettable memories. <\/p>\n

Educational workshops in local elementary school<\/b>
As part of its mission to participate in conservation and education projects, the Foundation, in partnership with Parc Omega, coordinates educational workshops in local elementary school to raise awareness of the importance of safeguarding endangered species and preserving biodiversity.<\/p>\n

Recently, Vicky Carri\u00e8re, in charge of research and conservation projects at Parc Om\u00e9ga, visited Grenville’s Dansereau-St-Martin elementary school to run a workshop on pollinating insects, with a particular focus on the endangered monarch butterfly. <\/p>\n
